# Privacy Policy – VaultTerm

This Privacy Policy explains how the VaultTerm application (“the App”) handles user
and device information.

## 1. Information the App Processes

VaultTerm is an SSH terminal application. The App does not require user accounts
or registration.

The App may process the following information:

 * **Connection details entered by the user**, such as host address, port, username,
   and other SSH connection settings.
 * **SSH session content**, including commands and output transmitted between your
   device and the server you choose to connect to.

## 2. Information the App Does NOT Collect

VaultTerm:

 * does **not** collect personal data for analytics
 * does **not** use advertising networks
 * does **not** track users or devices
 * does **not** sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing

## 3. Purpose of Data Use

Any data handled by the App is used solely to:

 * establish SSH connections to user-specified servers
 * store application and connection settings locally on the device for usability

## 4. Data Storage and Location

Connection settings and app preferences are stored **locally on your device**.

VaultTerm does not operate its own backend servers and does not transmit this data
to Juha Thai.

## 5. Network Communication

When you initiate an SSH connection, the App connects directly to **the server you
specify**.

VaultTerm is not responsible for the privacy practices or logging policies of third-
party servers. Server operators may collect logs according to their own policies.

## 6. Third Parties

VaultTerm does not send user data to third parties for analytics or advertising.

Google Play may independently process information related to app distribution and
downloads in accordance with Google Play policies.

## 7. Permissions

VaultTerm requires network access to establish SSH connections. The App does not
request unnecessary permissions (such as contacts, location, or messaging), unless
future features explicitly require them.

## 8. Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect locally stored data. Users are
encouraged to:

 * secure their device with a lock screen or biometrics
 * use strong credentials
 * connect only to trusted servers

## 9. Children

VaultTerm is not intended for children under 13 and is not marketed toward them.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

## 10. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the App evolves. The latest version will always
be available on this page.
