Privacy Policy for Stream Commander

Last updated: February 1, 2026

At Juha Thai, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how Stream Commander handles information and ensures that your data remains secure.

1. Data Collection and Usage

Stream Commander is designed to be a ”local-first” tool.

  • No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, such as your name, email address, or location.
  • Sensitive Credentials: The application requires you to enter sensitive information, including OBS WebSocket passwords, IP addresses, and SSH credentials.
    • Where is it stored? All credentials and connection details are stored locally on your device’s private storage.
    • Is it shared? No. This information is never sent to our servers or any third parties. It is only used to establish a direct connection between your phone and your local OBS/Server instances.

2. Permissions Used

Stream Commander requires the following permissions to function:

  • Internet Access: Required to communicate with your OBS Studio and your servers via SSH within your network or over the internet.
  • Local Network Access: Required to find and connect to devices on your home Wi-Fi.

3. Third-Party Services

The app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. Your usage remains completely private.

4. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your credentials depends on your device’s security. We recommend using a screen lock or biometric authentication on your phone to prevent unauthorized access to the app.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the ”Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
